"Following a career with Greater Manchester Police researching and implementing high-profile white paper operations, I moved into television production where for the past 25 years I've created international award-winning documentaries for broadcasters including National Geographic, The Discovery Channel, ITV, Channel 4 and NHK Japan.
Key history projects include David Starkey's acclaimed Monarchy series for Channel 4, The Unseen Diana for ITV, and my passion for the natural world has taken me to all corners of the globe to write and direct numerous series for National Geographic and The Discovery Channel - including 'Monkey Thieves' and the long-running 'Wildest' strand."
